Blockchain technology is always changing, and modular blockchains are one of the exciting innovations. While traditional blockchains have changed the game in many industries, they can face some scalability limitations.

 

Monolithic blockchains, where all core functions happen within a single chain, often struggle to handle a large number of transactions efficiently. This is where modular blockchains come in.

Let’s take a look with a brief overview of the differences between modular and monolithic blockchains. A blockchain, at its core, is an immutable ledger of transactions. Most blockchains are monolithic – they handle four key functions on the same layer:

• Execution: Processing transactions to update the blockchain’s state.
• Settlement: Resolving disputes, verifying transaction validity, and ensuring “finality.”
• Consensus: Reaching an agreement between validators on transaction ordering (e.g., Proof-of-Stake).
• Data availability: Ensuring transaction data is available for the entire network to view.

 

Modular blockchains, however, separate these functions across multiple chains. This allows for specialization and optimization.

 

Why is this significant?

Monolithic blockchains try to include all the transactions above in a single layer, while Modular chains focus on one part of the stack, providing customized and efficient solutions each Modular has its responsibilities to handle their task.

 

This distinction of Modular’s concept is important when considering the Blockchain Trilemma – the idea that a blockchain can optimize for only two out of three features: scalability, decentralization, and security.

 

• Scalability:
The ability to increase transactions processed (throughput) without proportionally increasing verification costs. Modular approaches solve this.

 

• Decentralization:
Lower hardware requirements for running full nodes mean more participation. Modular chains can have larger blocks without sacrificing decentralization because the modular blockchain is dedicated to one purpose for example one can store the data, while another could focus on optimizing RPC (​​Remote Procedure Call)

 

• Security:
Modular Blockchain has its own node set to secure its chain, creating a sovereign, independent blockchain with customization.

การอัปเกรด Dencun (หรืออีกชื่อ Cancun-Deneb) เป็นการอัปเกรดครั้งสำคัญของเครือข่าย Ethereum ซึ่งจะเกิดขึ้นในวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2567 โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเพิ่มความสามารถในการปรับขนาด (scalability)และเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพของเครือข่าย Ethereum

 

ข้อเสนอหลักที่เป็นหัวใจสำคัญของการอัปเกรดนี้คือ Proto-Danksharding (EIP-4844) ซึ่งถูกออกแบบมาเพื่อให้การทำธุรกรรมบนเครือข่าย Layer-2 เร็วขึ้นและทำให้ gas fee ถูกลงมาก นอกจากนี้ยังมีข้อเสนออื่น ๆ ที่น่าสนใจมากมาย การอัปเกรดครั้งนี้จะมีอะไรบ้าง มาดูกันเลย

EIP-4844 (Proto-Danksharding)

EIP-4844 (Proto-Danksharding) หรือที่รู้จักในชื่อ Proto-Danksharding เป็น EIP ที่ถูกพูดถึงเป็นอย่างมาก โดย EIP นี้นำเสนอการทำธุรกรรมแบบ “blob-carrying” เพื่อลดต้นทุนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการอัพเดทข้อมูลบน Layer 2 rollup ไปยัง Ethereum mainnet โดยธุรกรรมที่มีบันทึกข้อมูลแบบ Blob data จะช่วยให้ส่งข้อมูลได้คุ้มค่า หรือถูกลงนั่นเอง

 

การอัปเกรดนี้ถือเป็นพื้นฐานของการทำให้ Ethereum ปรับขนาดได้มากขึ้น (improve scalability) โดยเฉพาะในส่วนของ Danksharding ซึ่งจะเน้นการยืนยัน Blob data ผ่านเทคนิคการเข้ารหัสข้อมูล และการสุ่มตัวอย่างข้อมูลเพื่อความพร้อมใช้งาน การพัฒนาต่างๆ ของ Ethereum ในปัจจุบันมุ่งเน้นการปรับปรุงให้สามารถรองรับการทำงานแบบ modular ได้ โดยให้ความสำคัญกับ rollup และการปรับปรุงข้อมูลให้เหมาะสม

 

โดยประโยชน์หลัก ๆ ของ EIP นี้ได้แก่:

• Gas fee ถูกลง: EIP-4844 ตั้งเป้าที่จะลดค่า Gas ทำให้ค่าธุรกรรมบน Ethereum ถูกลงสำหรับผู้ใช้ทุกคน โดยเฉพาะผู้ใช้บน Layer-2

• เพิ่มความสามารถในการปรับขนาด (Scalability): การนำเอา Blob data เข้ามาช่วยในกระบวนการ รวมถึงการปรับเปลี่ยนต่างๆจะเปิดทางให้ Ethereum สามารถรองรับปริมาณธุรกรรมได้มากขึ้น

Additionally, there are many other interesting proposals. What will be a part of this upgrade? Let’s take a closer look.

EIP-4844 (Proto-Danksharding)

EIP-4844 (Proto-Danksharding) stands out as a leading Ethereum Improvement Proposal, also known as Proto-Danksharding, introduces “blob-carrying” transactions to reduce costs associated with posting Layer 2 rollup data to the Ethereum mainnet. These transactions, carrying blob data, enable more cost-effective data submission.

 

This upgrade lays the groundwork for more advanced scalability enhancements, particularly Danksharding, emphasizing efficient blob verification through erasure coding and data availability sampling. เปิดตัว Roadmap ปี 2024: เตรียมตัวพร้อมรับคลื่นขาขึ้น

ปี 2567 เป็นปีที่น่าตื่นเต้นและเต็มไปด้วยความคึกคักในตลาดคริปโต โดยปีนี้มีเหตุการณ์สำคัญและแนวโน้มที่น่าจับตามองมากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการอนุมัติกองทุนรวม Bitcoin ETF และเหตุการณ์สำคัญอย่าง Bitcoin Halving ที่กำลังใกล้เข้ามา อีกทั้งนักพัฒนาในอุตสาหกรรมบล็อกเชนก็ไม่น้อยหน้า นำเสนอแนวคิด ผลิตภัณฑ์และโซลูชัน รวมถึงทยอยเปิดตัวนวัตกรรมใหม่ ๆ  โดยแนวโน้มทั้งหมดนี้อาจเป็นสัญญาณที่บ่งบอกถึงจุดเริ่มต้นของการเข้าสู่ตลาดกระทิงครั้งใหม่ก็เป็นได้

 

ด้วยเหตุนี้ SIX Network จึงต้องทำการเตรียมตัวให้พร้อม เพราะปีนี้อาจเป็นปีที่เต็มไปด้วยโอกาส การวางแผนเพื่อใช้ประโยชน์จากสภาพแวดล้อมของอุตสาหกรรมคริปโตที่กำลังอยู่ในเชิงบวกจึงเป็นเรื่องสำคัญเป็นอย่างยิ่ง

เตรียมตัวพร้อมรับคลื่นขาขึ้น (Ready to Ride the Big Tide)

จากเป้าหมายที่กล่าวข้างต้น SIX Network เตรียมแผนงานไว้ 4 กลยุทธ์เพื่อเตรียมตัวเข้าสู่ตลาดกระทิงและบรรลุเป้าหมายที่วางไว้ โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้

1. อัพเกรด SIX Protocol เข้าสู่ Modular Blockchain

เราเตรียมอัพเกรด SIX Protocol ให้กลายเป็นบล็อกเชนที่มีความยืดหยุ่นมากขึ้น เพื่อปรับเปลี่ยนการใช้งานให้เข้าถึงได้หลากหลาย ทั้งภาคธุรกิจ นักพัฒนา หรือผู้ใช้บริการด้านบล็อกเชน โดยนำเอาคอนเซปต์ของ Modular Blockchain มาเป็นแนวคิดหลัก

 

แนวคิด Modular นั้นเริ่มเป็นที่รู้จักตั้งแต่ Celestia เปิดตัว Modular Blockchain ที่ทำงานด้าน Data Availability โดยคอนเซปต์ Modular Blockchain ได้ถูกพูดถีงอย่างแพร่หลายในโลกคริปโตว่าเป็นแนวคิดการทำงานที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ทำให้หลังจากนั้นมีบล็อกเชนรายใหญ่ ๆ  เช่น Avail และ Dymension เข้ามาลงเล่นในตลาด และนำคอนเซปต์ Modular Blockchain มาพัฒนาภาพรวมของโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของเชนให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น

 

โดยคอนเซปต์ของ Modular Blockchain คือการนำฟังก์ชันหลักในการทำงานของบล็อกเชน ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยรูปแบบการทำงาน 4 อย่าง คือ Execution, Settlement, Consensus และ Data Availability มาแยกส่วนการทำงานกัน โดยปกติแล้วบล็อกเชนทั่วไปจะทำงานทั้ง 4 อย่าง เปรียบเสมือนการนำคนเพียงคนเดียวมาทำงานทุกอย่าง แต่วิธีการของ Modular Blockchain เปรียบเสมือนการมีทีม ที่ในทีมจะมีแต่ละคนที่เก่งและทำงานที่ถนัดเพียงอย่างเดียว และด้วยแนวคิดแบบ Modular นี้ แต่ละงาน (Execution, Settlement, Consensus และ Data Availability) จะถูกแยกออกเป็นส่วน ๆ และนำไปจัดการที่บล็อกเชนต่าง ๆ ตามความถนัดของเชนนั้นๆ ทำให้การทำงานทั้งหมดมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น อีกทั้งยังเพิ่มความสามารถในการขยายเครือข่าย (Scalability) ด้วย

SIX Network ตั้งเป้าที่จะนำแนวคิดแบบ Modular มาประยุกต์ใช้กับ SIX Protocol โดยเริ่มจากฟังก์ชัน Execution และ Consensus ในเบื้องต้น การอัพเกรดจะส่งผลให้ SIX Protocol สามารถทำงานร่วมกับ Modular Blockchain อื่น ๆ ได้และ SIX Network ก็มีโอกาสที่จะจับมือกับโปรเจกต์ระดับโลก รวมถึงขยาย Ecosystem ของ SIX ได้สะดวกยิ่งขึ้นอีกด้วย

2. ปรับแผนเชิงกลยุทธ์เกี่ยวกับ DeFi: ขยายตัวไปหลายบล็อกเชน

DeFi เป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่สำคัญใน Ecosystem ของ SIX โดยในปีนี้เราได้วางแผนการจัดการผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับ DeFi โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อให้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ DeFi สามารถเชื่อมต่อกับ Ecosystem ของเชนอื่นๆ ได้มากขึ้น ซึ่งในปัจจุบัน จะเห็นได้ว่ามีบล็อกเขนใหม่ ๆ เกิดขึ้นมากมาย เปรียบเสมือนคลื่นลูกใหม่ที่เกิดขึ้นอย่างไม่หยุดนิ่ง ดังนั้น SIX Network จึงปรับตัวเพื่อจะได้ขยาย SIX Ecosystem ให้สามารถทำงานและใช้ทรัพยากรต่าง ๆ จากเชนใหม่ ๆ ได้

 

ซึ่งเราได้ดำเนินงานพลิกโฉม DeFi ตามแนวทางเหล่านี้:

 

พัฒนา Tokenomics:

นอกจากการพัฒนาฟังก์ชันของ DeFi แล้ว เรายังให้ความสำคัญกับ Tokenomics ที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งนี้ด้วย ดังนั้นฟีเจอร์ใหม่ที่จะออกมานั้นจะถูกคิด โดยคำนึงถึงความเกี่ยวข้องกับเหรียญ SIX ซึ่งทั้งหมดเพื่อให้เกิดผลดีกับ Tokenomics ในระยะยาวมากขึ้น



เพิ่มการเข้าถึงสภาพคล่อง (Liquidity):

การมีสภาพคล่อง (Liquidity) เป็นสิ่งสำคัญในโลกคริปโต ซึ่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งนี้จะถูกดำเนินการโดยเน้นแนวคิดในการเข้าถึงสภาพคล่องมากขึ้น ซึ่งอาจนำไปสู่การสร้างจุดแข็งด้านการเงินและการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน

 

ผสานการทำงานแบบ Multi-Chain:

การผสานการทำงานแบบ Multi-Chain มีบทบาทสำคัญในกลยุทธ์การเปลี่ยนแปลง DeFi ครั้งนี้ โดย SIX Network ตั้งเป้าที่จะอำนวยความสะดวกในการทำธุรกรรมและทำให้เกิดการปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเชนอย่างราบรื่น โดยให้ความสำคัญกับผสานการทำงานบน Multi-Chain ซึ่งกลยุทธ์นี้จะช่วยเพิ่มการเข้าถึงและเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ใช้มีส่วนร่วมกับ SIX Ecosystem ได้ง่ายขึ้น

SIX Network มีความตั้งใจที่จะสร้างการรับรู้ของแบรนด์ในตลาดโลก ดังนั้นเราจะดำเนินการสนับสนุนและร่วมมือกับโปรเจกต์ที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งใน Ecosystem ของบล็อกเชนระดับโลก โดยตั้งเป้าเป็นผู้สนับสนุนหลัก เพื่อเปิดประตูสู่โอกาสทางธุรกิจ

 

นับตั้งแต่ต้นปี 2567 SIX Network ได้ริเริ่มความร่วมมือกับโปรเจกต์ที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ Global Ecosystem ซึ่งการพาร์ทเนอร์ถือเป็นการปูพื้นฐานของ SIX ในการเข้าสู่ Ecosystem ใหม่ ๆ

4. ดำเนินแผนงานผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อภาคธุรกิจ (Real World Business) อย่างต่อเนื่อง

SIX Network ประสบความสำเร็จในการนำผลิตภัณฑ์ไปให้ธุรกิจในอุตสาหกรรมต่าง ๆ นำไปใช้งาน ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์ใหม่ – Simplifying Blockchain Adoption, Amplify Business – และเมื่อเราก้าวเข้าสู่ปี 2567 จุดแข็งของเราก็ยังคงอยู่ที่การรักษาและขยายผลความสำเร็จเหล่านี้ ผ่านการร่วมมืออย่างใกล้ชิดกับธุรกิจที่ใช้เทคโนโลยีบล็อกเชน

เราสามารถเรียกผลิตภัณฑ์ที่พัฒนาเพื่อภาคธุรกิจอย่าง SIX Vault และ Gen 2 Studio ได้ว่าเป็น Presentation Layer ซึ่งเป็นเลเยอร์ที่ผู้ใช้งานมีปฏิสัมพันธ์เพื่อเข้าถึงและใช้ประโยชน์ฟังก์ชันการใช้งานของบล็อกเชน การพัฒนาให้ Presentation Layer มีประสิทธิภาพที่สูงขึ้นจะทำให้ผู้ใช้งานเข้าถึงบล็อกเชนได้สะดวกขึ้น และใช้งานแอปพลิเคชั่นที่มีบล็อกเชนทำงานอยู่เบื้องหลังได้อย่างลื่นไหล

 

ปีที่แล้ว SIX Network มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาไปที่ Presentation Layer เพื่อทำให้ภาคธุรกิจสามารถจัดการกับความท้าทายในการทำให้ลูกค้าทั่วไปสามารถใช้งานแอปพลิเคชั่นที่มีบล็อกเชนอยู่เบื้องหลังและเข้าถึงกิจกรรมหรือแคมเปญต่าง ๆ ตามที่ธุรกิจต้องการได้

ผสานธุรกิจกับ NFT Gen 2:

  • Gen 2 Studio อยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาและทดสอบ UX/UI ให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดเพื่อขยายการเข้าถึง NFT Gen 2 สำหรับผู้ใช้ทั่วไปที่ไม่ได้เชี่ยวชาญด้านเทคนิค ซึ่งในอนาคตเราจะเปิดให้ใช้เฉพาะพาร์ทเนอร์ทางธุรกิจเดิมที่ใช้ NFT Gen 2 

 

SIX Vault:

  • ในปีที่แล้ว SIX Vault ได้ถูกพัฒนาและใช้เป็นฟังก์ชันหลักในแอปพลิเคชันของพาร์ทเนอร์ที่ใช้ NFT Gen 2 โดย SIX Vault เป็นกระเป๋าเงินดิจิทัลที่เน้นการใช้งานสำหรับภาคธุรกิจที่รองรับการใช้งาน รวมกับ NFT Gen 2 เพื่อรองรับรูปแบบการใช้งานทางธุรกิจที่แตกต่างกันไปในแต่ละบริษัท

ก้าวเข้าสู่ปี 2567 SIX Network ตั้งใจที่จะพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อการใช้งานทางธุรกิจ และทำงานร่วมกับพาร์ทเนอร์ทางธุรกิจรายใหม่ ๆ ในอุตสาหกรรมต่าง ๆเพื่อขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรม และอำนวยความสะดวกต่อธุรกิจในการนำเทคโนโลยีบล็อกเชนไปใช้ในกิจกรรมที่หลากหลายต่อไป

แผนงานนี้มีผลดีกับผู้ถือ SIX อย่างไร

ในการอัพเกรดฟังก์ชันหลักของ SIX Protocol ให้กลายเป็น Modular Blockchain นั้น ส่วนหนึ่งของการอัพเกรดจะเกี่ยวข้องกับระบบ Consensus ภายใน Ecosystem ของ SIX Protocol โดยจะเปลี่ยนระบบของ SIX Protocol ให้กลายเป็นระบบ Public Proof of Stake ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ถือเหรียญ SIX ทั่วไปสามารถเข้าร่วมกับ Node ผ่านการนำเหรียญมา Stake ได้ ซึ่งการเปิดโอกาสในครั้งนี้จะทำให้เหรียญ SIX ถูกนำมาล็อคใน Node เพิ่มมากขึ้น ส่งผลให้จำนวนเหรียญ SIX ที่หมุนเวียนในตลาดมีน้อยลง ส่วนผู้ถือที่นำเหรียญมา Stake ก็จะได้รับ Reward จากการ Stake อีกทั้งยีงมีโอกาสลุ้น Airdrop ของโปรเจกต์ในระบบด้วย

1. SIX Protocol Upgrade: The Modular Update

SIX Protocol is preparing for a purposeful upgrade, in order to be a flexible infrastructure which is accessible by businesses, developers, and other infrastructure providers. This upgrade is the implementation of the modular blockchain concept to the SIX Protocol. 

 

The modular blockchain concept is an effective approach that has been widely discussed in the global crypto industry recently since Celestia unveiled the direction about Data Availability. After that, there are many global players like Avail and Dymension, and others, working on the modular concept to build the more effective blockchain infrastructure in the big picture. 

According to this concept, the core functions of a single blockchain network, which include execution, settlement, consensus, and data availability, will be separated. A traditional blockchain is like one person doing many jobs all by themselves. But with the modular approach, it’s like having a team where each person is good at and does just one job. 

This way, tasks are split up and handled by different chains, enhancing the overall performance and scalability of the blockchain.

Improving on our side will help the SIX Network ecosystem easier to expand and attract resources from multiple networks.

Liquidity is one of the important elements in the crypto world. The transformation will be executed with the idea of getting more access to liquidity, which can lead to solid financial strengths and sustained expansion in the long run.
