The SIX validator node is like the backbone of the SIX Protocol‘s blockchain infrastructure. It’s very important because the SIX Protocol covers many different services. Validator nodes are responsible for making sure that transactions are valid, voting on important decisions, and keeping accurate records to ensure the security of the SIX Protocol.

 

Launch of Individual Node Program 

 

On March 10, 2023, SIX Network is launching the SIX Individual Node Program, which allows individuals to earn rewards by running a validator node on SIX Protocol. However, this round will only be open to 100 spots.


To become a SIX Individual Node, participants need to stake an initial deposit of 20,000 SIX tokens and participate by simply following the instructions on this blog. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team by opening a support ticket on Discord.

How to Participate in the Individual Node Program

 

Before you can participate in SIX Protocol’s Individual Node Program and start earning rewards, you need to do a couple of things to prepare. 


First, you’ll need to bridge 20,000 SIX tokens from other chains (BNB, Stellar, Klatn)  to SIX Protocol Chain by following the instructions Here or watching the video guidelines on How to Bridge Here. Once you’ve done that, you can follow these easy steps to become a node:

Step 1: Navigate to the SIX Protocol website

 Go to the SIX Protocol website and click on “BECOME A NODE” at the top right corner of the page, then click “PURCHASE NOW” button.

Add SIX Protocol to KEPLR

Step 2: Connect your Keplr wallet

Connect your Keplr wallet to the SIX Protocol website by clicking “START YOUR KEPLR” then clicking “Approve” and allowing the connection.

Become a Node - Purchase Now

Step 3: Purchase an Individual Node

Purchase an Individual Node by clicking “PURCHASE NOW” in the Individual Node section.

Input your SIX Name Service and Node Quantity

Step 4: Input your SIX Name Service and Node Quantity

Choose your SIX Name Service to identify your ownership (6-25 characters). You can either pick your name or have the system generate one for you. Then, type how many nodes you want to purchase.

Recheck Details

Step 5: Recheck Details

Double-check your order details, including your node quantity and SIX balance.

Place order - SIX Individual Node

Step 6: Place your Order and Approve your Transaction

Place your order by clicking “PLACE ORDER” and confirm the transaction by clicking “Approve” in your Keplr wallet.

Go to your node - SIX Individual Node

Step 7: View your Node

Once your purchase is successful, you can view your node staked by clicking on “GO TO YOUR NODE”.

Step 8: Manage your Node

After clicking “GO TO MY NODE”, you can see the details for your node. And, you can manage it by clicking on “STAKE”, “UNSTAKE” and “CLAIM REWARDS”.

If you’ve already left this page and want to go back to the “MANAGE MY NODE” page, you can visit the SIX Protocol website. From there, navigate to the “BECOME A NODE” page, and then find the “Individual Node” section. Once you’re there, simply click on the “MANAGE MY NODE” button to access the page you’re looking for.

That’s it! By following these simple steps, you’ll be contributing and earning rewards through the Individual Node Program.

SIX Network Is Ready to Upgrade SIX Bridge and Individual Node Program: The Schedule and What to Prepare

We would like to announce that SIX Bridge will be an updated bridge feature to the SIX Protocol chain and Individual Node Staking will be available for you to join very soon. Today we would like to tell you the upcoming schedule of the updates and what to prepare.

 

SIX Bridge Major Update to SIX Protocol Chain

There are 2 major updates coming to the SIX Bridge. On March 1, the SIX Bridge will be upgraded and the bridge feature to the SIX Protocol chain will be available. With this upgrade, you will be able to use the bridge feature to bridge your SIX Token to the SIX Protocol to prepare for joining the Individual Node program. 

 

In order to complete the upgrade, there will be maintenance occurring from 12 PM to 3 PM (GMT+7) on March 1. During that period, the bridge will be temporarily unavailable until the major upgrade is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

We suggest you prepare for the upcoming Individual Node program by preparing to bridge your 20,000 SIX Tokens to the SIX Protocol chain when the upgraded bridge is launched. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to do this soon.

Individual Node Launch

Individual Node Program will be available on March 10. For individuals who want to support the SIX Protocol network by running a validator node. To ensure the security and performance of the SIX Protocol, SIX Network uses a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism that requires validator nodes to process and validate transactions.

 

By running a validator node on the SIX Protocol, investors can earn rewards in the form of SIX tokens while contributing to the overall security and performance of the network. 

 

To become a SIX Network individual node, investors must stake an initial deposit of 20,000 SIX tokens for each individual node. Individual node staking is a unique and rewarding approach to staking that offers significant benefits for investors looking to support the growth and development of the SIX ecosystem. 

 

Benefits of Participating In Individual Node Program

Being an Individual node staking provides benefits such as improved network security, involvement in the network’s operations, and earning rewards in SIX tokens. 

 

Running a validator node enhances the SIX Protocol’s infrastructure and helps to protect it from fraud from the more decentralized consensus method Moreover, Validators receive rewards based on their performance and it is a rewarding way for investors to support the growth of the blockchain industry while earning rewards.

 

Be Prepared for Updates

In conclusion, Two important updates are being rolled out which will introduce new features and improve the overall user experience for users and the utility of the tokens and network.

 

SIX Bridge Maintenance on Mar 1, 2023

SIX Bridge will be undergoing maintenance on March 1 from 12 PM to 3 PM (GMT+7). This maintenance is necessary to implement upgrades to the bridge. Once the maintenance is complete, you will be able to use the new features of the upgraded bridge. If you are planning to bridge to the SIX Protocol chain, be sure to do so after the maintenance period has ended.



Launch of Individual Node Program on March 10

SIX Network will launch the Individual Node Program on March 10, which will enable users to become a part of SIX Protocol’’s infrastructure and earn rewards. If you are interested in joining this program, you should prepare to bridge your 20,000 SIX tokens to the SIX Protocol chain when the upgraded bridge is launched. By doing so, you will be able to participate in the Individual Node Program easily on the launch date.

สวัสดีชาว SIX Network ทุกคน ในปี 2022 ที่ผ่านมา เป็นปีที่เราประสบความสำเร็จกับการเปิดตัว NFT Gen 2 และเปิดตัวพาร์ทเนอร์ Node Validator อย่างเป็นทางการ  นอกจากนี้เรายังมีการใช้งาน NFTGen 2 ในหลายธุรกิจ และในปี 2023 เรามีแผนพัฒนาโครงการใหม่ๆ ให้ใช้สิทธิประโยชน์ในโลกจริงได้มากขึ้น เช่น BUIDLER Garage และ Partner hub โดยเน้นสนับสนุนธุรกิจและครีเอเตอร์

 

เมื่อไม่นานมานี้ เราได้ปรับปรุงหน้าเพจ  “Six Roadmap Journey Update” บนเว็บไซต์ เพื่อให้ทุกคนได้เห็นภาพรวมและความคืบหน้าการทำงานของ SIX Network โดยเรามีเป้าหมายให้หน้าเพจนี้เป็นเหมือน Journey การเดินทางที่ใครๆก็สามารถติดตามไปกับเราได้ เราขอชวนทุกคนให้ลองเข้าไปเช็คหน้า Roadmap นี้ดู
